35 WEEKS! and what could be the longest post EVER!!!

WOW! Where has the time gone?  I have slept thru most of my pregnancy!  I've been so tired all the time!  It is nearing November and that means... BABY TIME!!

Here is my most recent belly shot:
Taken last weekend while redecorating the guest bath into a Rubber Ducky bathroom for Avery!

Ok, so I haven't slept the WHOLE pregnancy away! I've been crafting too! Actually, I've been quite busy! I've had 2 baby showers here in Seattle and will be going home for one more this weekend.  Also, Pumpkin Patches, Puyallup Fair, numerous doc appointments (with a bonus ultrasound last week) and tons of shopping! I have been cooking like crazy and my nesting instincts have kicked in lately! My mom came up to help me put the finishing touches on the nursery, too! I can't tell you how many bags of Double Stuff Oreos  and gallons of milk I've eaten in these 8 1/2 months!  (It's A LOT!)

Here we go, a photo journey of the past few months! READY?

I'll start with the Nursery!
With my mother's help, ( A LOT OF HER HELP) we were able to finish the nursery!
I still have to recover the chair...

Here is Grandma Chris sorting through the hair bows!  She helps to make this room so amazing! Thanks for all you did, Mama!

Here is a view with the lamps on.  Such a soft, calming light! I love to spend my mornings in here on the weekends!

This is a temporary changing table.  I was given one by my neighbors daughter that will be here on Monday.  In fact, most everything in this room was donated, bought second hand, or hand made! I loved taking the time on the weekends to search for perfect pieces for the nursery at thrift stores or craigslist!

Another view of the window area.

 Belly shot!

Here is the crib area!  It turned out perfect!  We even added a skinny silver ribbon to each stripe to add a bit of sparkle to the wall!

I cant wait to bring Avery home to her new room!

On to the next photo set!
These were taken at a Baby Shower thrown by my dear friends, Shirley and Christy! It was such a lovely day! great food, friends and a sweet surprise by my family! My mom was already planning on being here, but my sisters, Kara and Krista decided to make the trip too! Connor and Reagan went along for the ride!   We got home from a long afternoon of shopping to find all of them dressed in Bronco gear watching the game on MY COUCH!  I was floored!  Thanks for taking it upon yourselves to be here for the shower! It was lovely to share that day with you!

Here I am at the dessert table! I could have sat here all night!  The cake was delicious!

Baby Reagan all dolled up for the party!

Such a wonderful friend! Shirley, thank you for throwing such a beautiful shower.  Love you!

 Kritter's in the house!

What beautiful roses!  The mints were delicious too!

 One happy Mama to be!

Thank you all for coming to the shower.  Many of you drove quite a ways to be here for the shower and I appreciate every mile!  Hugs to you all!

Christmas PJ's for Reagan and Avery!

Baby Reagan!  Born 8/9/11.  Reagan and Avery will be appx 3 months apart!

 Gorgeous Baby Reagan!

Meet Champ!
I remember the day Mom brought Champ home to me.  She told me how while she was shopping she heard him saying, "Take me home to Kalee!"  I loved Champ instantly and have loved him ever since!  I will tell Avery a similar story about Cordy!

 Meet Cordy!
Seriously, Cordy talked to me almost every day when we'd take the children from work on our daily walks.  He was special and I knew he had to come home to be Avery's best friend.

Funny thing happened!  I was going through an old notebook I had kept in the RV of baby ideas and look who was in the book!
CORDY!  I had no idea he was the same pig!  I had been dreaming of him since I began dreaming of having my own child! It was meant to be!

Last Saturday at The Johnson House.

I know this wasn't the best way to blog these last few months but, I had to get caught up!

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your love and support.  I cannot tell you how much love I feel from you all! I walk around our house and see all the gifts that we've received from friends and family and even generous strangers on craigslist!  Avery knows she is well loved.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Let's see what these next few months bring! I bet you'll be back to see!

Love you all!

14 Weeks To Go!

I remember when we were only 14 weeks along! It was so new then, so much unknown! Now, only 3 short months left! I can't believe my third trimester will be here on the 30th!

My belly has finally made an appearance!

My sister, Kara, had her little girl on the 9th of August! Reagan is adorable!

I leave for Idaho on Saturday! A whole week with my family! I miss them all so much! I can't wait to see you all and spend some quality time together!

We took the bump to the ballgame again! Avery's "first" Red Sox game!

I got a baseball signed by Dustin Pedroia! Travis was impressed!

We had a great time!

The next day, we received a package in the mail from The Goible's. They went to Fenway with their son, Jackson and picked up a few things for Avery! It was so sweet! I couldn't help but cry!

All in all, my pregnancy has gone by fast! Travis would disagree!

Thanks to all of you for keeping up with my blog!

New Nursery Photos

Here are a few updated photos of the nursery.  Not sure how I feel about all the blue...

We are still trying to find a nursing chair.  I'd like a rocker/recliner but anything will do at this point!

The wicker stand is now white, thanks to Travis! Champ is hanging out, waiting to meet the baby!

Here is a picture of the crib bumper I made.

Here is the whole crib set I made.

Here are a couple bibs I made from scrap pieces
Here is a little dress I made for her! I love being able to make these things for her!

Here is a picture of Travis and I last night at Redondo Beach, Wa.

Here is my latest Belly Photo! Almost 6 Months!!!

Here is the wicker painted white!
Look at all her clothes already!
I have made a few patchwork blankets for her, a cover for the boppy and am still excited to do more!
And last but not least...
We've decided on a name!

Crib Bedding and Nursery So Far

I got the room painted on Tuesday night and set it up with what I had so far. We got the crib for $50 and it came with a mattress!

I had to pretend the bedding was sewn already.

Here is the window area.

Here is the closet. The doors will be taken off. I bought the dresses for $18 bucks!
You cam pretend the drawers are where they should be!

Here is where I will nurse the baby. The wicker will be painted white and we still need to find a rocking chair/ glider/ recliner.

Tonight, I decided to start on the crib bumper. Here it is all done! I spent $12 on the padding for inside and spent $50 on material to make bedding, clothes, bibs, drawer dividers, Boppy covers and what ever else I want to make! I would have to say I really am proud to have done all this so far so inexpensively!

I will be making crib sheets, crib skirt and a quilted bedspread tomorrow, so watch for photos!

Doe A Dear

A female deer!

It's a girl!

Mama, Papa and Kara all came to town to be at the ultrasound to hear the news!

Afterwards we went to dinner at Salty's and the boys went to the casino and the girls went shopping!

Tomorrow, we are shopping again and I will be getting my crib and bedding!

Life is good!

Did We Just Feel the Baby?

I have been noticing a popping feeling over the past few weeks and then I'd realize it was just gas... But tonight, this was something new!

This was baby! I am 99% sure! I was lying in bed reading when I felt a swishing feeling near my pelvis so added a little pressure with my hand and waited to feel it again! Sure enough, I felt it. Not only on the inside but on my hand too! I raced to Travis so he could feel and after a moment he did too!!

He is a happy Daddy!

Only 2 days 19 hours and 45 mins til we find out if it's a boy or girl!

The Bump's First Baseball Game!

The sun finally came out! We took full advantage of it by going to the Mariners game this afternoon! What a great time even though we lost. You gotta get used to it around here.

15 Weeks

I was teasing him for playing Scrabble at the ballpark! I kept telling him, " There's no Scrabble in baseball!"

The best part was running into old friends that were sitting 10 rows behind us! They were able to come down and sit with us.

Ok! Back to baby stuff!

My body is really changing now! The Bump is growing!!!! I have my energy back and my appetite! Now, if I could only figure out how to keep this bulging disc from hindering my every move!

We will find out what the baby is on July 8th! Will it be a doe or buck? What do you think?

Hugs!
