She Did It!!!! ( shhhh)

Well, she did it! She rolled from her back to front last week! Only thing was that we were in Idaho when it happened and Trav was in Seattle. I felt so bad and didn't know if I should tell him or save it as a surprise. I asked opinions from friends and family and I decided not to tell...

Then last night, we were on our play mat, so she could move freely and she did it again!!!! Only thing was, Trav had stepped into the other room!! He had missed it, again! It was killing me inside so I decided to tell him. He was so happy for her!

I can now share the video I got from her first roll over! Good thing because I missed recording her " second roll over!!"

I didn't even expect her to do it! I was taking photographs of her and next thing I knew, she was practically on her belly! Time to get the video camera!!

Needless to say, I am very happy for you, BabyDear! You are learning to control your body all on your own!!

Potato Love

While we were in Idaho, Reagan wanted to share some of her favorite cartoons with Avery. While waiting for Bubble Guppies to come on, this cute little song came on!
Now, being from Idaho, the land of the Famous Potatoes, I immediately made this my theme song! Now when ever I hear it, I am reminded of my wonderful week at home with my friends and family!

Opening Day!!

I have to say, I have been waiting for this day for so long!!! Watching Opening Day Baseball with my BabyDear!!








I can't wait to take you to your first baseball game this Friday with Daddy! We will go see the Mariners! We will go to a few games this season. I can't wait to take you to your first Red Sox game later this year!!

Avery is getting closer every day to rolling over!! We spend our active awake time on our back and just recently I have seen her bend backwards like a C, reaching her arms out and using her legs as momentum. I can't wait I see what she does next!

Sunday Morning Snuggles

It's becoming a weekend ritual. Avery wakes for a morning feeding and into bed with us she goes! After feeding, we snuggle under the blankets and talk a about things. I can see this being something Avery looks forward to every weekend!

I encourage you to grab a few cozy blankets, call your family over to the couch and take a moment to have a family snuggle time and share a special moment with the ones you love!

Snuggling

Just yesterday I was saying how this rainy weather had to go, but this morning it has me loving it!

Avery and I are snuggled up under soft blankets in the rocking chair, listening to the rain fall.

She has just fallen asleep in my arms. Such a lovely rainy day!



She has her first cold! Poor thing! Her nose is stuffy and she has this little cough. It is just enough of a cough to get us to look at her, then she smiles and then turns away with a bashful grin...

34 and 3 months Birthday!

Today is my 34th Birthday and Avery is 3 months old today! That makes me 296 months old!!
Last year, Kara came up for a visit and we wandered around Seattle!


We went to Cupcake Royale for my Bday cake!


I decided Avery and I needed to uphold the tradition!



It was south fun hanging out with my BabyDear!!

Turning 34 isn't so bad when you have a sweet sweet girl to hang out with!

Driving Miss Avery

Grandma Chris and Papa Jim are in town to visit again! They took Avery out to pick her chariot! We found a perfect fit for the both of us!

2 Months!

Oh, BabyDear!  You are so amazing!  It has been a lovely 2 months!  We have enjoyed countless snuggles and smiles!  We have been reading a lot of stories and singing songs.  You have really begun to find your hands and they make their way into your mouth a lot!  You even manage to push your blanket into your mouth to suck on.  You have been a mellow baby.  Pretty content to lay there and study the world around you!

Penguin Pants!

This morning has flown by already!! Travis called at 2:30am (11:30am in Frankfurt)to let us know he made it to Frankfurt. Since he was going to be there for 11 hours they decided to get rooms at a hotel for some sleep!!
His plane to Yekaterinesburg, Russia left about 15 mins ago!

It Was to not have contact with him for 11 hours! Thank goodness for FaceTime! Some of you out there have it worse than that! My heart goes out to you!
