Ma Ma!

Yesterday, Avery spoke her first sound, "ba-ba".

Today, she clearly said "ma-ma" as an attempt to tell us she needed something.

I was in the kitchen and she was working in her space and I could hear she was ready for a change of scenery. She let out a few cries and then a clear "ma ma"! I looked out the doorway with my phone in hand to quickly capture the moment.

The 4th of July at Emerald Downs

This went to Emerald Downs for some horse racing and fireworks! Avery did great. She just watched the fireworks while I held blankets up to her ears to muffle the sound. Every time one went off all I could think about was how much we missed our puppies. Sage did ok with fireworks but poor Molly hated them!
