Oh Baby!

It is so nice to see you again!!!

I had so much fun meeting Dr. Levine. He is so nice!

We got to see our BabyDear again today. It must have been excited to see us too because it kept jumping around! It made me laugh so hard! Then BabyDear would move again and trigger my laughter over and over! It brought tears to my eyes.

I got to see how much my uterus moved when I laughed and it made me even more aware of the little life inside me and how my every move can effect my baby.

Such a beautiful day!

Pj Pants

I can see BabyDear now, crawling around with these funny PJ pants on!

Adorable!

What an adorable print for the nursery.
Reminds me of the patchworks quilts I love to make and is a cute reminder to make some for BabyDear!

A Few More Pojects

Paper Pom-Poms

I remember making these as a child and will for sure be hanging some of these in the nursery.
Here is the tutorial from Martha Stewert:

Thanks Martha!

7 Weeks!

This has been a tough week! Nothing sounds good to eat! I spent 2 hours wandering around Safeway for food and all I could come up with was a package of Thai Pad noodle kit, Frozen Juice bars, Watermelon and V8!  None of it hit the spot either!  I hear that soon enough this will all change and I will be eating everything in sight!  BRING IT!!

6 WEEKS!

Our first appointment for an ultrasound was on the 7th of April. We got to see our baby! The heartbeat was adorable to watch. I could have laid there all day watching!!!

Our good friend, Shirley was able to take Travis to the appointment because our car is dead. It was so nice to have here there with us. I will update with photos that she took very soon!

I know it doesn't look like much to most but to me it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! (It's the thing between the two plus signs!)

Dream

Joy

Love

I found these pictures at Burlington Coat Factory and they were perfect for what I had in mind! They will set the tone for the rest of the room.

This is a collection of things that I will be using in the room. Trav's mom saved his bassinet and passed it down to us! It is adorable!

This piece will be painted white if we are having a girl or kept natural if we have boy. Same goes for the crib and changing table.

Here is Molly checking out the new decor!!

I love the striped paint and will be doing that in the robin egg color. The color irvine furniture shown here will be the color we'll use if it's a boy!

Here is a cute little chair I repainted for baby! The bunny is one from our Easter Basket from Second Saturdayz. Kara has the same one for her baby!!

Happy! Indeed I am!

It is time to start sharing my nursery inspiration images that I have been
collecting over the past couple years.

I love the light colors of this room. The idea of "patchwork" fits well with my decor because it is about the coming together of different things, harmoniously. The light shades and random sized photos really caught my eye.

I am sure bits of this pic will find its way into my babydear's room!
